Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Wisconsin Certification #1118 - Elementary Certification (1st - 8th Grade).
Experience, background and knowledge in project-based learning preferred.
Commitment to educational innovation and individualized, student-centered teaching and learning.
Strong interest in working as a team within a teacher-led organizational structure.
Experience integrating technology into instruction.
Facilitates the development of individualized learning plans and project-based learning opportunities for students.
Contributes fully to the development and evaluation of school instructional methods and recommends changes and improvements as needed.
Assists in the development, implementation, review, revision, and evaluation of curricula plans (Scope and Sequence) as directed by the Department of Public Instruction and approved by the Charter School Council.
Engages community partners to facilitate student learning.
Maintains acceptable student conduct and supports positive behavior as necessary in an advisory based, relationship-centered model.
Maintains accurate records on the progress and attendance of students.
Participates in teacher led school governance.
Attends and participates in all Charter School training programs and required State meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
