Additional Information About the Role

The Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Foundation provides vital support to BJC HealthCare's efforts to promote health, wellness and state-of-the-art care in St. Charles County. The Foundation is looking for a Project Assistant to support the team. Responsibilities will include data entry, database management, and completing other foundation related tasks.

Flexible, onsite work opportunity.

12-16 hours per week.

Overview

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women's Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally, the hospital's medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy, a sleep lab, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

Role Purpose

Assist in the completion and enhancement of specific department projects and programs. Independently execute some aspects of major projects. Own, implement, manage and complete specific projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and implements projects and programs in support of strategic business goals.

  • Assists with the planning and execution of physician and/or department networking, community outreach and other special events.

  • Surveys stakeholders and staff members to gain insights on opportunities for improvement and to measure satisfaction levels.

  • Performs general administrative tasks with little to no supervision.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

  • No Experience
