  • Providing support to Project Managers by organizing team meetings and communication per project specifications in order to maintain project deliverable schedules

  • Utilizing online research tools to find information

  • Taking meeting minutes and keeping records of tasks and progress

  • Making travel arrangements and finding accommodations for training seminars, conferences and additional project-related events

  • Providing key partners with project information

  • Help out project teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

  • Seeking further information to fill in gaps of incomplete documents

  • Handling the analysis of data, development of reports, proofreading and editing of documents, and preparation of presentations

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word

  • Knowledge of numeric data entry

  • Data entry experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments

  • Experience with project management software is a plus, i.e. Microsoft Project, JIRA, Mavenlink, and NetSuite

  • Highly skilled at database and file management

  • At least 1+ years of business/office experience

  • BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field preferred; high school diploma or its equivalent required

  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a sales position reports directly to the VP of Sales. This position will be responsible for the improvement of Sysco’s market position and achieving financial growth by defining long-term strategic goals, identifying business opportunity, finding potential new customers and negotiating contracts to secure their business. Working with the RSMs, DSMs and MA, the New Business Developer fosters relationships with prospects and transitions these accounts to the sales force. QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications: 2 or more years’ with a proven track record of opening up new business in the food service industry.
