The New Schools Open Campus marketing team seeks a Project Assistant to contribute critical support of all organic digital marketing operations and initiatives, including email marketing, list management, marketing analytics, website management, and customer care. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, supporting the Assistant Director of Marketing and working alongside a team of two other project assistants, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong analytic, detail- and process-oriented skillset; will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative responsibilities that rely heavily on digital applications and technologies; will have experience balancing between shifting priorities and projects; and will have equal comfort working collaboratively, independently and proactively. The position requires the ability to interact diplomatically with a wide range of individuals, including many stakeholders and partners across the university.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, frequently under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and professional. Excellent written and oral communication skills, a high degree of discretion, and highly cultivated attention to detail are equally important.

Responsibilities, in order of priority:

  • Provide superior attention to accuracy, detail and process in management of contact lists and data tracking mechanisms.

  • Assist with import, export, and maintenance of data files.
    Interface with prospective and current Continuing Education students via email, serving as a key frontline resource and responding empathetically and accurately to inquiries through direct correspondence and/or triaging with colleagues as necessary.

  • Maintain strong understanding and accurate account of information about Open Campus learning opportunities and The New School community.

  • Ensure prompt, timely and comprehensive response to Open Campus inquiries, and maintain tracking of pipeline volume.

  • Working closely with Director of Marketing and in collaboration with Continuing Education advising network, codify and canonize procedures and policies for handling routine inquiries from Continuing Education students, develop database with information on frequently recurring advising scenarios and reconciliation/escalation workflows. Provide basic information, guidance and assistance and routine advice in alignment with these practices.

  • Under direction of Assistant Director of Marketing, develop and deliver reports on multichannel marketing activities.

  • Under direction of Director of Marketing and Assistant Director of Marketing, develop email templates and scripts to address and successfully resolve common advising scenarios that ultimately contribute to marketing strategic goals.

  • Under direction of Director of Marketing, develop process documentation, handbooks and other resources as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and orderly project files and records.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary The Laboratory Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the oversight of the clinical laboratory QA program, proficiency testing, continuing education, occurrence reporting and inspection/accreditation. Roles & Responsibilities: * Proficiency Testing (College of American Pathologists and State of New York) Place yearly order to the State and CAP. Distribute surveys to the departments. Review surveys and submit for signature post grading by Director. Obtain exceptions reports for review and signature by Medical Director. File all surveys in the appropriate binders. * Continuing Education Subscribe to teleconference or on-line conference as available. Coordinate OSHA In-service. Subscribe and Distribute "Check Sample" and "Tech Sample" to all departments. * Inspection and Accreditation - Review and update policy and procedure manuals as needed. Review and sign policy and procedure manuals yearly. Coordinate the CAP Self-Inspection with Departments. Assist Administrative Manager with the inspection applications. Obtain copy of Reference Laboratory licenses annually or upon expiration. * Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement - Follow-up on all Occurrence reports for the Department of Clinical Laboratories. Update Quarterly and Yearly summary of Occurrence Reports. Discuss all performance indicators with Medical Director and Department Director yearly. Retain monthly performance improvement indicators for all departments. Complete year end summary of performance indicators. Subscribe to the Q-Track and Q-Probe packages as appropriate. Distribute Q-Track and Q-Probe following up on submission and review. Obtain copy of Reference Laboratory licenses annually or upon expiration. * Performs other duties a required.
