We are seeking a talented, licensed Project Architect or Designer with 5-10 years of experience who is interested in contributing to and thriving in a positive, mutually supportive studio environment.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include all phases of design documentation through construction administration, project management and client contact

Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university required

U.S. Architectural license preferred or demonstrated progress towards obtaining a license

Must have demonstrated proficiency in REVIT and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and in writing

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Description of Job This position is a part of our Army National Guard division at Joint Forces Headquarters in Centennial and supports the Design/Project Management branch to provide technical expertise in managing military design and construction projects. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: * managing the full scale construction bid process and other solicitations for construction services; * conducting frequent field observations and facilitating regular construction meetings to assure projects are completed according to contract documents; * negotiating contract amendments, fee determination, and other significant project issues; * facilitating and coordinating change orders, gaining funding authorizations, payment requests and project submittals; * tracking and monitoring project schedule, budget, and completes contract close-out procedures and documents; * facilitating project establishment and programming with a variety of stakeholders; * developing initial project programming, estimating, and a variety of funding documents; * working with building tenants to evaluate and prioritize requirements within budget; * assisting with annual and emergency project budget requests; * managing the design development of military construction, sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects as well as capital construction and controlled maintenance projects; * working with State and Federal oversight authorities such as Office of the State Architect and National Guard Bureau, as well as working with internal State and Federal Contracting and Accounting Offices; * engaging in solicitation documentation for design services, preparing statements of work, requests for proposals, managing document review process, and serves as a technical resource for team members and staff; * engaging with state or federal contracting authorities to ensure the procurement of services; * facilitating and coordinates design input from various internal departments such as telecommunications, safety, force protection, etc.; * engaging in emergency project coordination with Trades employees; * serving as a technical guide on large work order project scopes and execution; * conducting building condition audit/analysis/oversight; and * performing Code research.
