The role of the F35 Operational Excellence Senior Project Analyst is to support the US based Operational Excellence Program Manager in the successful delivery of the Operational Excellence development, implementation and continued management to schedule, cost and quality. Support will be required to multiple delivery streams through day-to-day interfacing with their embedded project management teams to ensure efficient and timely reporting and the subsequent development of an integrated master schedule and consolidated reporting material.
Interface with Senior Management with respect to overall OPEX project management and project status issues.
Attend Delivery Stream project management reviews on behalf of the US Based Operational Excellence Manager (Delivery Stream Investment reviews, Contract/Operational Status Reviews, etc.)
Develop the Project Management Plan for the Operational Excellence activities
Develop and manage an integrated Operational Excellence Schedule of activities with associated resource and cost alignment
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of weekly and monthly information (supporting US and UK review cycle).
Participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of all investments.
Provide monthly Cost Performance Report (CPR) analysis across the integrated Investments, including generation of Equivalent Headcount analysis and Estimate to Complete & Variance Analysis reports.
Support Integrated Business Review and Resource Planning activities on behalf of the Operational Excellence management team.
Support the Operational Excellence Manager in successfully passing any Lifecycle Management Phase Review.
Ensure the population and maintenance of project data in the standard USP PM toolset.
Responsibility and Autonomy for developing the most effective way to collate and report the data and ensure that there is effective information for decision making
Monitor and report project performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives along with forecasting project outturn - This will include baseline setup and management activities
Maintain the BAES project control system including update of: resource planning, PM governance, and people toolsets.
Manage the reporting structure of monthly status to the plan (Contract Reviews / Project Performance Review Presentations / Executive Summary Reports for key issues etc)
Monitor and manage all Lockheed Martin dependencies to ensure the correct actions and targets are achieved
Lead the development and management of Risks, Opportunities and threats that will drive improved ability to achieve performance and cost targets
Ensure clear communications between BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin team with all data and information between teams are aligned and understood
Build effective working relationships with the US Depots and key suppliers
