SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Project Analyst/Senior Project Analyst will report to the SVP, Pre-Development, Design & Construction and will support Capex project leaders by performing technical and support functions for Capex projects. The Project Analyst/Senior Project Analyst will work under the day-to-day direction of the project leaders and perform tasks related to project delivery including contract administration, procurement coordination, resource scheduling, database system management, and internal and external communication with project related consultants. This role will assist with risk identification and mitigation strategy development; Identify resolutions to contract, project, execution, and client issues; Provide information for budget development and monitoring; Collaborate with applicable external consultants to ensure flow of information and plan for project resources to successfully execute project activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor and assist with relevant project information such as budget, schedule and close-out and management within CHAMPION system; ensure all project data is accurate and current
Provide support and materials related to Capex Committee presentation preparation and assist with design presentation for project approval
Assist with compiling information related to potential acquisitions, dispositions, and/or development and redevelopment projects
Review project FF&E specification or similar documents then monitor status and tracking of required resubmittals
Assist project leader and others in preparing RFP's for Project Management services and design consultants as necessary to assemble and manage required internal and external teams for project kickoff
Manage small capital improvement projects
Coordinate project or program implementation and rollout
Research issues, prepare reports and correspondence, and provide recommendations to project leader and team
Make recommendations to management for improvements to various projects, tasks and objectives
Other duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Degree in Design, Architecture, or Project Management preferred
Minimum three years professional experience in a related field or position
Experience working in a team environment
Experience in contract management/administration preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to describe business problems and their solutions to management
Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and diplomacy, and prioritize projects
Team player and the flexibility to aid where needed
Ability to read architectural plans, technical specifications, Gantt schedules and contract documents preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
