Basic Program Overview:

ManTech is responsible for assisting our Government customer ensure that material solutions developed or acquired by Marine Corps Systems Command are system engineered, integrated, interoperable, and certified to provide the warfighter with equipment required to accomplish their mission.

To do that, ManTech assists our customer to conduct the detailed systems engineering analysis, establishes technical policies and guidance across the Command, and manage the technical investigation and distributed planning required to deliver world class Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) systems capabilities to the warfighter.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating and hosting meetings; including gathering meeting topics, preparing agendas, coordinating meeting invitations, hosting meetings, and preparing meeting minutes and action items.

  • Gather information, conduct research and perform analysis to support Marine Corps Systems Command customer team.

  • Prepare documents and presentations following established processes and templates.

  • Maintain team data repository with current references and final documents for configuration management.

Mandatory Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to support DoD programs using the Integrated Defense AT&L Lifecycle Management Framework and DoD 5000

  • Experience with ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules

  • Experience developing solutions to program problems are required.

Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree (in Engineering or related field) and two to four years of related experience. Work is performed under regular supervision. Supervision may be exercised over subordinate technical personnel. Examples of Duties:Performing system analysis, programming and training; serving as liaison with other departments on data processing matters; participates with project teams; evaluating and implementation of vendor solutions; providing user support. Provides guidance, training, and work counseling as needed; Participates on projects for moderate new applications, upgrades, new releases, and enhancement projects; Analyzes potential user procedures and/or problem areas and conducts feasibility studies for the potential application of electronic data processing systems; Designs electronic data processing applications; Develops technical program specifications and work plans; Plans and conducts acceptance tests for all systems; Defines modules and programs to be coded; May prepare reports on information collected; Writes or modifies programs, prepares flow charts, and all required documentation; Tests, corrects, updates, and consolidates programs to assure efficient and economical operation; May serve as system administrator; Tests, evaluates and debugs software systems prior to installation; Trains user personnel in the operation of computer systems; Responds to emergencies; Performs related tasks as required. General knowledge of the principles and practices in the preparation of computer programs, appropriate programming languages, modern techniques in system analysis and design and the operation, uses and capabilities of electronic data processing equipment; general knowledge of land management, utility billing, real estate billing, and personal property relative to computer applications; ability to analyze business methods and procedures and develop applicable automated information processing systems; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other computer and user personnel; ability to follow complex oral and written instructions; ability to prepare technical reports and manuals; ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships; and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Typical Qualifications:Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in computer science or related field and considerable experience in computer project development, programming and systems analysis work.
