JOB INFORMATION

Under limited supervision, apply comprehensive knowledge of administrative principles, concepts, practices, and standards in representing a business unit or project on complex administrative matters. Using knowledge of corporate administrative procedures, compile, consolidate, and analyze information needed by staff for the work of the unit or project. Ensure that documentation and process flows are complete, current, and accessible. Coordinate efforts or projects with other areas such as HR, Accounting, Facilities, or IT. Contribute to special projects. May train staff.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform varied administrative functions within a business unit or on a project to advance the work of the group. May conduct research, schedule and plan activities, coordinate and prepare deliverables and communications, and provide training support.

  • Recommend, interpret, and/or implement company and internal administrative policies and procedures.

  • Communicate with clients, service providers, or corporate administrative units in coordinating services, deliverables, or meetings. Perform a lead role in compiling information for business unit or project meetings or for meetings with other units.

  • Gather production or statistical data to prepare analyses, reports, and schedules for use by the business unit or project team or for communicating to management, clients, support offices. Recommend alternatives to ensure positive outcomes.

  • Serve as principal point of contact in responding to inquiries from internal and external customers.

  • Recommend, support, and may lead implementation of technology enhancements.

  • Assume a lead role in communicating processes, activities, or requirements of the business unit or project to clients or other business units.

  • Compile budget data considering actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses. Review, monitor, and analyze expenditures and explain variances.

  • May perform complex administrative projects or participate as a team member on highly complex projects.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • 4 years of related experience

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Strong skills using the entire Microsoft Office Suite of products including preparing spreadsheets, documents, and presentations

  • Attention to detail is essential, able to perform data analysis and prepare thoughtful recommendations

  • Strong written and verbal skills, and ability to present to senior leadership and to prepare polished, executive-level presentations

  • Ability to work both independently and in teams to properly deliver project based solutions at both the strategic and detailed task level

  • Familiar with Organizational Change Management and Lean Management processes

For more information about Fannie Mae, visit http://www.fanniemae.com/progress JOB INFORMATION This position establishes, maintains, and communicates standards for recording, searching, and reporting data kept in the enterprise's databases and warehouses. This position documents data flows, data mappings, performs data lineage analysis as required by various enterprise projects. This position confers as needed with other technical staff to plan database conversion projects, or to establish large scale mining, reporting, or data display exercises. Leads or provides technical assistance to data projects or operations to maintain enterprise-wide standards and attain more efficient use of data resources. Researches, assesses, and reports use of data standards and ways in which they can be modified as needs change and corporate platforms develop. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS * Collaborate with business partners, technical partners, and representatives from other organizations to understand and evaluate their requirements regarding data, and ensure they are meet the needs and conform to the enterprise standards. * Perform any necessary data mapping and data lineage activities, documents information flows. * Manage initiatives focused on implementing enterprise data management capabilities. * Align enterprise data management activities with industry best practices. * Develop metrics associated with core job functions, exhibiting how better data management practices improve business value. * Align data management efforts/initiatives directly to providing business value. * Work with manager to monitor use and form of reporting data in multiple platforms and reports throughout the organization. Contribute to developing and communicating corporate and regulatory standards for using, providing access to, and reporting data, and to the compliance framework for tracking the implementation of these standards. * Request and track reporting from departmental units on use of and security standards for data used in variety of databases and warehouses. * Assist manager in establishing data security guidelines for data subject to specific regulatory requirements. * Communicate with organizational units concerned with risk management, legal compliance and privacy to ensure unit's standards and practices are consistent. EDUCATION * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE * 4 - 6 years of related experience SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS * Hands-on data analysis experience, preferably in the secondary mortgage domain. * Ability to absorb information and data from multiple sources, apply strong analytical skills, and provide thoughtful and strategic recommendations to deliver tangible business value. * Good general understanding of the data concepts (Data Quality, Data Modeling, etc.) with emphasis on Metadata. * Demonstrated high proficiency in SQL, MS-Excel and MS-Access. * Experience with Cloud metadata collection and configuring data governance structure in Collibra or similar data management/governance tools a plus.
