SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.SIE is looking for a Project Administrator in our New York City office to assist with the back-office administration of the firm’s projects and processes. This role involves extensive daily coordination with the Firm’s Senior Leadership, Accounting Department, administrative staff, and project staff. The Project Administrator must be proactive, responsive, and an excellent communicator. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Firm’s Manhattan office five days per week.Responsibilities:
Serving as the primary point of contact for collecting timesheets and expense reports from all staff and reviewing to ensure completeness and accuracy, and proactively coordinating with staff for any corrections
Coordinating the execution of subcontracts, forms, and other paperwork with clients and staff
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project files and creating project numbers/job codes
Maintaining and updating company certifications and licenses
Scheduling staff for training and certification renewals
Coordination with insurance brokers to get Certificates of Insurance (COI).
Creation of internal memos and documentation for internal and external use
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
3+ years of experience working in an office environment and managing extensive email communication; Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (A/E/C) industry experience is a plus
Experience with Unanet A/E is a plus
Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, with excellent time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage work independently with minimal supervision
Notary Public preferred
Expected salary range is $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
