As an integral part of the Regional Operational Excellence Group at Fugro, the Americas Project Management Office (PMO) was established to provide wide-ranging support to all of the Business and Service Lines across the region. This includes providing best practices and training as well as coordinating project management support roles on selected projects. Come join our growing team of project management professionals!

As part of the Project Management support pool, the Project Administrator will provide broad-based assistance to the project teams in accordance with specific project needs, Company procedures, HSSE and Quality requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • Provides broad based assistance to the project teams in accordance with specific project needs, Company procedures, HSSE and Quality requirements.

Core Activities:

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain project action tracker

  • Able to minute meetings

  • Formatting of Weekly Progress Reports to clients

  • Document Management (Quality):

  • Document control of issued reports, procedures or other contractual documents

  • Formatting of project procedures

  • Administration of technical queries

  • Financial Management:

  • Preparation and administration of external invoices and intercompany invoices

  • Maintain Project Invoice Logs

  • Integration Management:

  • Collect information within the company for completion of the project execution plans

  • Update project data in Avalon database

  • Set-up daily project reporting format in DOME database

  • Contract Management:

  • Administration of Variation Orders

  • Maintain overview of contractual penalties (liquidated damages, etc.)

  • Procurement:

  • Administration of Purchase Orders and Subcontracts (maintain Resource and Procurement Logs)

Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions

  • University degree (Bachelor´s or higher)

  • 0-3 years working experience in the Energy Sector

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; MS Projects (preferred)

  • A collaborative worker who interfaces effectively across the business

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong ability to work with detail and accuracy

  • Effective planning and organizing, adapts to changing and competing priorities with fast 24/7 paced global business.
