Location: Evanston, IL
This position is designated as Hybrid - Fully Flexible and expected to work from our World Headquarters office once per month to several times a week. The specific days in the office are determined by managers based on business requirements. Rotary is under the jurisdiction of Illinois employment laws; we require all employees to live within reasonable daily commuting distance to Evanston.

Overview
This position is responsible for creating and facilitating learning opportunities for Rotary's Programs for Young Leaders: Interact, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange, as a part of the Programs for Young Leaders team. You will have the opportunity to provide guidance to our members on how to best champion youth development and create ways for youth to grow as service leaders. Your contribution will support Rotary International's mission and strategic objectives by providing direction and support to Rotary clubs and districts in their efforts to create lasting positive change for young leaders.
You Will Have
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with international experience preferred.
Minimum of two years' work experience in an office environment.
Youth engagement/youth development experience preferred.
Previous work with communications, Learning Management Systems, curriculum design, or service-learning preferred.
Previous work experience with an international non-government organization (NGO) or membership associations helpful.
Non-English language skills or cross-cultural experience.
Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software necessary.

You Will Be Responsible For
Curriculum and learning resources
Develops, revises, and edits production of learning materials for Rotary members and participants engaged in youth service worldwide as program handbooks, online courses, and facilitator guides. You will identify needs to develop additional learning resources.
Research, develops, and facilitates virtual and in-person training aligned with organizational strategic plans and resources. You will hold a webinar license, and support RI Programs webinars.
Designs visually engaging learning resources that align with RI's visual identity and support content as needed.
Communications
Analysis and Strategy
Leads focus groups and creates surveys to gather feedback on effectiveness of young leader programs, communications, and learning materials.
Incorporates feedback from research data to recommend strategies and improve learning resources, communication tactics, and programming.
Identifies innovative strategies based on market trends and best practices to develop learning content and deliver messages.
Assists alumni relations strategy for youth program participants, promotion of alumni activities, and communications with our members to establish ties with lost alumni.
In collaboration with the Supervisor and Manager and with input from key constituents, creates a learning strategy across the portfolio.
Other
Serves as member of program support staff team for Interact, RYLA, Rotary Youth Exchange, and alumni relations.
Serves as an internal subject matter expert for all section topics and relevant areas of Rotary policy.
Coordinates with interdepartmental colleagues to educate wider Rotary audiences about Programs for Young Leaders and incorporates Rotary's other services and offerings into the Programs for Young Leaders experience where appropriate. You will be the primary staff liaison to Learning and Development and Regional Leader Support staff departments.
Facilitates internal communication of updated resources, initiatives, and learning materials.
Other duties may include providing high-touch customer service over the phone, via email, and in person as needed for all young leader programs, activities, and special projects.
