As a Programs and Engagement Manager, you are responsible for driving the operations, direction, and expansion of the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation's (SECUF) programs and funds. This role encompasses the management of daily operations, as well as broader oversight of programmatic initiatives, ensuring they align with the SECUF's mission and vision. The role emphasizes proactive outreach and engagement strategies, fortifying the SECUF's presence and impact with credit unions in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

The Programs and Engagement Manager ensures credit unions' donor-advised funds needs are consistently met. This involves communication and collaboration with stakeholders and fulfilling the requirements specified in the fund agreements.

You will collaborate with the SECUF Director to manage grant programs for credit unions and LSCU chapters and partner with the League to orchestrate key fundraising events annually. You will also assist the Director with other conferences, events, and presentations as required. As the Programs and Engagement Manager, you will spearhead the communication strategy for the Friend of the Foundation program, emphasizing the advantages of membership and its philanthropic impact to retain and grow the membership base.

You will engage in LSCU & Affiliates' activities, the National Credit Union Foundation, and other organizations to bolster the Foundation's outreach and recognition. The Programs and Engagement Manager continuously investigates and presents innovative opportunities tailored to the evolving needs of LSCU credit unions, identifying and seizing potential avenues for the Foundation's growth and impact. You will collaborate with the LSCU & Affiliates Marketing and Communications team members to implement strategies and bolster the SECUF's awareness efforts. This collaboration encompasses producing publications, press releases, annual reports, brochures, and delivering impactful presentations and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Non-Profit Management, Communication/Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

• Knowledgeable in PC systems and software.

• Planning and project management experience.

• Proficient in fundraising techniques and knowledgeable in non-profit foundations.

As the Programs and Engagement Manager, you will travel by airline and car an average of 1-2 days weekly throughout Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. A valid driver's license is required.

You can expect to work Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekend engagements. Salary is $60k+ depending on experience.
