The Enrollment and Student Success division supports a student's entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success.

Collectively, the division of Enrollment and Student Success positively influences the health, safety and well-being of the student body. The Department of Campus Housing and Community Living provides a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for students living on campus. These 11-month, live-on positions are expected to work July through May, including some evening and weekend obligations.

The successful candidates will assist with the first year housing initiative and other campus-wide first year student programs, designed to help support and integrate approximately 750 first year students to SUNY Plattsburgh through a coordinated support and mentor system. Duties will also include service as Community Director to one of the College's First Year Housing buildings, to include supervision and evaluation of Graduate Assistant Community Directors and Community Advocates as assigned. One position will coordinate Community living programming efforts and initiatives for first year residential students, while the other will oversee these areas for upper level residential students. As an institution that delivers challenging and high-quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners, the successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues.
