Seeking multiple Programmers/Analysts-JAVA who work closely with business team to understand business processes and needs/requirements and, with guidance, develops, analyzes, and documents changes required in IT systems to fulfill requirements submitted by the users/business partners for our eCommerce environment. Interprets design documents, completes analysis and creates designs on simple to moderate projects under general supervision.

Provides programming hours estimation, oversees small projects, and conducts design walk-throughs on own work. Codes, tests, and debugs moderately complex programming projects from detailed specifications across one or more platforms and sets-up unit test plans and assists in system testing. Implements programs across one or more platforms and owns projects done in conjunction with other platforms/network implementations, assisting in defect incident report cause determination and resolution and providing status reports on assigned projects.

Creates programmer and client documentation and participates with team members in estimating resource requirements, project planning and scheduling for programming projects as well as in regularly rotated on-call duties. Assists other team members in use of utilities.

Must be available 24 hours/day to receive calls from Operators/Users, investigate and solve issues while on call and able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication or a closely related field with two years related work experience using Java, FTP, SQL, and Excel as well as Spring framework and Hibernate experience and knowledge of application development/maintenance for on-line and batch programming, Subversion or other source control software, API calls, Java EE Technologies (ranging from EJB to JSP), HTML, CSS, XML, Visual Basic, Relational DB design, Oracle 10g or higher, and at least one the following: Access, Structured Query Language, DB/2 as well as an understanding of System Analysis, Design, and System Integration.
