The Programmer/Analyst II, reporting to IT Management, is responsible for developing and maintaining computer programs for the business processes including ERP and auxiliary applications. Additionally, they are responsible to provide user support for questions and problems in the use of those applications.
Interpret business requirements into computer program requirements
Develop program logic to satisfy business requirements
Maintain existing program logic to satisfy changing business needs
Develop test scenarios to validate developed business logic
Test program logic and verify results
Documents program and application logic
Analyze and troubleshoot program logic based on errors or invalid results
Implement programs from a test environment to a production environment
Design and develop database files and relationships
Fix Database files updated in error to ensure integrity
Analyzes business requirements to develop cost and time estimates
Assist users through training and answering questions
Subject to on call to correct production program and application problems
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented personality.
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to deliver work product in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to function well in a team environment
Proficiency in several programming languages and a variety of hardware platforms
Knowledge of Database Concepts
