We are seeking Junior Programmer to join our team remotely with required meetings once a quarter in Crystal City, VA.

The Junior Programmer will work with lead developer creating and maintaining database driven web applications. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to develop skills in the underlying technologies (PHP, Python, Mysql, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and Linux).

The ideal candidates will:

• Have experience developing web applications using PHP.
• Have good understanding of web application technologies e.g: HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery.
• Have basic knowledge of databases, and experience working with SQL.

Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field from an accredited institution.

• 1-3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of programming.

• Hold one of the following certifications preferably prior to hiring - if not, required to obtain within 180 days of hiring:

• SSCP

• Security+

• CSSLP

• CISSP

• Minimum Interim DoD Secret Clearance required.

• Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Education, Skills and Experience:

• Experience using VS-CODE a plus.
• Experience with linux operating system and docker containerization a plus.
• Experience with gitlab and CI/CD pipelines a plus.
