Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking a Programmer Analyst to work as part of our growing development team at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. The Programmer Analyst will interact with users on a daily basis, and will report to a Software Manager who will assign and track resources as required.
Gathers requirements, designs application flow diagrams, and implements designed applications.
Builds add-on modules using application program language.
Reports current statuses of assignment to Software Development Manager.
Writes daily source code for new requirements.
Analyzes requirements specifications of application to check for feasibility to implement.
Performs development testing on programming assignments.
Coordinates with quality assurance for alpha and beta testing.
Performs duties with minimal supervision
Must have a Bachelor's degree in an IT or computer science-related field with a minimum of 5 years of application/web development & server experience, or a Master's degree in an IT or computer science-related field with a minimum of 3 years of application/web development & server experience.
Must have or be able to obtain a position of Public Trust.
Must be able to work on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.
5 years in Java development, and experience with Client-based/Web-based applications
Experience in a DoD environment with application development in C#.
Knowledge of Air Force Technical Orders.
Thorough knowledge of XML, SGML, XSLT, DTD, XSD, and Schematron.
Able to receive direction from management and implement directions with teammates.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to participate in technical meetings.
Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
