Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Collaborate with business users, gather information about program needs, make formal recommendations.

  • Define objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.

  • Analyzes, defines, and documents.

  • Interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs

  • Requirements for functional processes & business flows (technical specs)

  • Designs and codes screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.

  • Customize systems based on predetermined goals, requirements and provisions as drawn up during analysis.

  • Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in the compile process.

  • Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.

  • Consults with Business User to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.

  • Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revise programs (as needed).

  • Follow internal processes for Production Control

  • Documentation of changes and audit requirements.

  • Maintain effective communication with business.

  • Follow through with deployment.

  • Working with Team to analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and complexity with other programs.

  • Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and timetables for developing programs. (Time Management)

  • Program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.

  • New Business Processes, Operating procedures, or Functionality with new coding

  • Maintain Change Management Flow between environments (Dev to UAT)

  • Quickly respond to support tickets from customers and departments according to company procedures.

  • Draft instructional documents to help and mentor other team members and share knowledge.

  • Monitors performance of programs after implementation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Competent Manufacturing ERP Business Model Knowledge a plus

  • Skill in mapping business processes to ERP functionalities

  • Ability to tailor ERP modules to align with specific business needs.

  • Functionalities including (but not limited to):

Work Orders, Planning, Stockroom, AP, AR, Finance, Procurement, Order Entry, Sales, etc.

  • Vastly proficient in issue troubleshooting, debugging and seeking resolution.

  • Glovia / Crescent One Application Knowledge

  • PRO-IV / SuperLayer Programming

  • Oracle / SQL Language preferred

  • Exposure/Experience to Microsoft Dynamics

  • Knowledge of Middleware, APIs and Data Transfer Methods

  • Minimal understanding of web design, including HTML5, CSS3

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
