As a Programmer Analyst II,you will be working with and integrating data from a variety of internal and external systems.

How else does this role contribute to overall health?

  • Provides programming support for some or all of the following activities: creation, validation and maintenance of programs and visualizations used for CDL risk reviews, risk metrics reporting and issue/risk trending to support Risk Based and Centralized Monitoring.

  • Assists with developing tools and techniques for improving process efficiencies within Data Analytics; including but not limited to: data integration automation, data retrieval automation, and report generation automation.

  • Assists with the review, development and technical implementation of new Risk-Indicators.

  • Act as a Lead Programmer on several studies by providing technical support for CDLs, establishing study-specific risk plans (cross-functionally) and creating and maintaining programs, validations, visualizations, and documentation for study specific risk analysis.

  • Assists DA management in the bidding process and evaluation of programming hours on studies to ensure DA programming budget hours are sufficient.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years') or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of a variety of programming languages

  • Knowledge of relational data base structure and experience working with complex data systems

  • Basic knowledge of PL/SQL programming experience is desirable

  • Ability to act a lead programmer on selected studies

  • Ability to effectively capture biostatical metrics

  • Provide quality control support for statistical programming

  • Proven ability to interface with client

  • Experience demonstrating a strong attention to detail

  • Experience demonstrating leadership ability and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary project team.Excellent problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines

  • Ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities

  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others

  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation

  • Ability to mentor Associate Programmer and Programmer Analyst I in nuances of clinical trials programming al, state, and/or local law.

As a Senior Programmer Analyst in the Data Analytics group,you will be working with and integrating data from a variety of internal and external systems. How else does this role contribute to improving health? * You will provide programming support and junior staff mentoring for some or all of the following activities: creation, validation and maintenance of programs and visualizations used for CDL risk reviews, risk metrics reporting and issue/risk trending to support Risk Based and Centralized Monitoring. * Lead team(s) of subject matter experts in developing tools and techniques for improving process efficiencies within Data Analytics; including but not limited to: data integration automation, data retrieval automation, and report generation automation. * Lead team(s) of subject matter experts in reviewing, developing and implementing new Risk-Indicators. * Evaluate industry changes, vendors and other technology and assists DA Management in setting the direction for DA programming staff. * Act as a Lead Programmer on several studies by providing technical support for CDLs, establishing study-specific risk plans (cross-functionally) and creating and maintaining programs, validations, visualizations, and documentation for study specific risk analysis. * Contribute to\leads and represents DA at risk review meetings, sponsor KOM meetings and/or bid-defenses. * Assist DA management in the continuous improvement of the bidding process and evaluation of programming hours on studies and across all studies to ensure DA programming budget hours are sufficient. * Act in a consult or mentor role for all programming and CDL junior staff as needed on programming, CDL tasks and/or leadership topics. * Assist Management in the allocation of programming resourcing across projects.
