This is an entry-level applications developer position. The developer will be developing in legacy applications and working on new development using MVC 5, Entity Framework 6 and Microsoft SQL.

The developer will work both independently, as well as part of a team. The developer will be expected to code, test and work in a fast-paced environment and should be a quick study with strong time management skills.


Develop in legacy applications

Work on new development using MVC 5, Entity Framework 6 and Microsoft SQL

Coordinate with team to identify optimal solutions to meet firm's needs.

Support team with ongoing maintenance and development of technologies; maintain an indomitable positive attitude and sense of humor

Ensure that all finished work is executed flawlessly, meeting creative, communication and production requirements across the board

Effectively balance multiple projects, deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment

Maintain an ongoing awareness of current technology and best practices


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Knowledge of:

.NET / ASP.NET / C# / Silverlight

SQL Server and relational database systems - including writing stored procedures, object oriented and multi-threaded programming

source control software (Subversion)

HTML, Silverlight, JavaScript, Visual Studio.NET, Visual Studio.NET, .NET Framework 3.5, 4.0, 4.5.2, JQuery

Building and designing websites and interfaces

Edwards) Enterprise One Platform. Works within the Global IT Team to insure high quality -- high availability systems and solutions are maintained across the global landscape and platforms. This includes but not limited to: ERP Systems (JDE), Middleware, Software / Data Communications, Reporting, Barcoding Solutions, ASRS (Automated Storage Recovery Systems), Databases, EDI, and connected sub-systems. Performs work under the guiding principles of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), Change Management guidelines and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Write / Create / Modify / Maintain / Support applications with applicable JDE development tools -- JDE E1 OMW (Object Management Workbench). * Research / Diagnose / Fix / Repair issues and software bugs within custom applications. * Troubleshoot technical issues and challenges within Global Enterprise Systems. * Provide CNC technical support and backup as needed and appropriate. * Write / Create / Modify / Maintain / Support program interfaces and connections between systems. * Support and Maintain EDI systems as needed to communicate with ERP systems. * Support PCI's system validation and change management process. * Write / Create / Modify / Maintain appropriate documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts. * Communicate with vendors on trouble tickets and escalations. * Accept & Troubleshoot assigned help desk tickets. * Partner with business end-users on JAD (Joint Application Development) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Production post go-live support. * Provide technical assistance as needed and wherever possible within the IT Department. * Knowledge of SDLC best practices (Software Development Life Cycle) * Setup of appropriate testing environments and data modeling. * Training of end-users as needed and appropriate. * This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. * Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. * Attendance to work is an essential function of this position * Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
