Using specifications provided by senior developers, develop, implement, modify and maintain business, accounting and management information systems.
Principal Accountabilities
Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.
Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revise programs
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs
Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
Identifies areas that could be improved by automated systems and participates in the development efforts for automated systems.
Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis, and submits recommendations for solution.
Assists with user support of business applications and with the investigation of system requirements.
Provides technical support and consulting services on systems software and application development to developers and users.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
Knowledge of web application development and relational databases, preferably with C# and MS-SQL specifically.
Excellent data communication and people skills.
Current on the latest technological advances within industry.
Experience & Education
Typically zero (0) to four (4) years' experience as a programmer analyst.
Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorizationNAC-I T1 Public Trust.. Note: US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
