This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Our client is a non-profit organization that has a large focus on supporting families in our local community.

Responsibilities: Work with various aspects of the policy administration system, which is made up of approximately 2,800 programs, about 1,000 SQL tables, and several separate subsystems.

Research, design, and code custom programs as needed.

Modify existing programs as needed to fix issues or add capabilities.

Understand the system and learn how various functions interact and what is needed to achieve desired results.

When needed work to convert data to formats needed by external consultants.

Test updates to administration system and assist users in testing these systems.

Work with management in determining ways to move current systems to digital platforms and the creation of new digital services Work with web programmer on interfacing web applications to policy administration system.

Be a backup to web programmer for web applications.


Provide support to users on policy administration system.

Required Skills: Proficient in C# Able to work in Visual Studio Working knowledge of SQL Server programming Able to help with imagining, creating, and moving to digital systems from manual systems Basic knowledge of Java and JSON Basic understanding of networks Helpful skills: Knowledge of Wordpress AS Ability to read and understand logic of COBOL programs Insurance background Basic knowledge of IIS Ability to understand Visual Basic code Familiarity with Crystal Reports or Microsoft SQL Reporting Services If this is the next role you see yourself in please apply to this posting or send your resume to for immediate consideration!

The Wisconsin Surgical Outcomes Research Program (WiSOR), a vibrant, interdisciplinary, multi-investigator research program within the Department of Surgery, is seeking a programmer to join our rapidly growing program. As part of a team of programmers and biostatisticians, you will provide research analysis and programming expertise to support health services research on a variety of topics, including performance and safety in surgical care, patterns of care, and comparative effectiveness.
