Job Title: Program/Logistics Manager

Job Description:

Support program and logistics management to the F-16 structural, mechanical and avionics systems; prepare documents and plans to include a schedule of events streamlining program implementation with IPT membership coordination; demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Project.

Prepare, review, coordinate and finalize pertinent data/documentation/information for verbal presentation of program status.

Support engineering and logistics tasks and functions related to program development and integration.

Ensure spares provisioning is accomplished on new items; interface with appropriate team members to ensure that F-16 spares requirements are identified. Support the coordination of programming the requisite funding to meet the requirements.

Support development of contract language and obtain contracts for support and services necessary to cover associated program requirements.

Coordinate programming funding for overall program requirements for support equipment, contractor data, testing reports, hardware, training, and outside engineering support.

Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Logistics Management Plan.

Provide support to develop and apply maintenance concepts including necessary depot support; i.e., Identify and support Source of Repair Assignment Process (SORAP) requirements and actions; manage Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA); manage provisioning planning and implementation; and support F-16 sustaining engineers.

Required Skills/Education:

Bachelor's Degree and 18 years experience; or, Master's Degree amd 10 years experience. Minimum 10 years of DoD acquisition and/or sustainment logistics experience.

This position will be with the Advanced Composites Structures Programs team leading the management, development and closure of change proposals, supporting the development of scope growth opportunities, leading cost reduction activities and supporting the production of advanced aerospace structures and assemblies. The position will also help provide support to the business management team in ensuring alignment and reconciliation between the program management and execution teams. Additional responsibilities may include: * Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community * Developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans * Measuring and reporting program performance * Delivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders * Participating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions * Creation, review and finalization of the program Statement of Work * Establishment and management of the program and subordinate baselines * Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools * Managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.) * Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities Minimum Requirements * DOD Security Clearance * 5 year's leadership experience with cross functional teams * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Bachelor's degree * Excellent problem solving skills * Attention to detail * Strong organizational skills * Ability to lead and direct others using influence * Aerospace Experience * Proposal Experience * Strong Business Acumen (the ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of the program) Desired Requirements * Experience with Development Programs * Proposal Management experience * Experience supporting US Government contract and customers * EVMS experience * The ability to recognize and respond to customer needs in order to develop additional sales that support organizational objectives * The ability to effectively plan, define, establish, communicate, monitor and control scope to ensure that all of the work required and only the work required is performed Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
