Position Equivalent FTE: 1.0 FTE No. Months: 12 months Position Number: 011517 FLSA Status Non-Exempt (accrues overtime) Position Type Classified Bargaining Unit AFT - Classified Professionals Range 23 Department Educational Services The Position Applications are being accepted for the Program Support Technician position in the Educational Services Division's Outreach and Student Affairs department at the District Admin Office.The Outreach and Student Affairs office supports district-wide efforts in relation to:• San Diego Promise• Outreach and Community Relations/ Partnerships• Early College Credit Opportunities• District-Based Student Leadership

The Program Support Technician position provides the highest level of customer services to prospective and current students, community partners and organizations, college faculty, staff, administrators, and detailed support, communication, reporting, and execution of all areas of the department, including:• Maintain the San Diego Promise database of students regarding program eligibility and requirements from application through program completion to maintain state Assembly Bill 19 guidelines.• Compose and deliver high-impact communication to prospective and current San Diego Community College District students regarding Outreach, San Diego Promise, and Student Leadership.• Develop and distribute reports with enrollment, retention, and graduation information of current and prospective San Diego Promise students. The reports are shared with the District, Colleges, and departments, including Financial Aid, Student Financials, Admissions and Records, Outreach, San Diego Promise, and Institutional Innovation and Effectiveness.• Establish and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.• Equip San Digo Community College District Student Trustees/ Associated Student Presidents with content for Board Meetings and legislative advocacy efforts.• Support with the execution and delivery of district and community-based events, programs, and initiatives.

Days are Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM). The selected candidate must be willing to adjust workdays/hours based on the department's needs.
