The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting BPA Human Resources Service Center Learning and Workforce Development (NHT) staff with a wide variety of issues/topics related to coordination of training programs, preparation of materials, developing evaluation reports for training classes. This position will also serve as back-up to other NHT training coordinators as needed by performing similar duties within the same organization for different training programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

  • With a Bachelor's Degree in applicable fields, 1 year of experience is required

  • With an Associate's Degree in applicable field, 3 years of experience is required

  • Without a degree, 5 years of experience is required.

  • Experience must be consistent with the specific requirements of program support and coordination and progressively more technical in nature.

  • 1+ years of experience performing administrative functions in an automated learning management system

  • Working knowledge of automated data systems.

  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook); MS Office 2010 proficiency required

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint

  • Good communications skills, both oral and written, sufficient to transmit information effectively, presenting and describing issues clearly and concisely

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with a learning management system (highly preferred)

  • Proficiency in Visio, Photoshop, MS Publisher, and Adobe InDesign

  • Experience coordinating project work

  • Must have good communications skills, both oral and written, with the ability to transmit information effectively, presenting and describing issues clearly and concisely

VIEW JOBS 10/28/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-26T00:00 Department Overview The overall purpose of this position is to provide customers with the goods and services needed to perform the functions of their jobs and support the OHSU mission of healing, teaching and discovery. Staff in this position frequently communicate with customers to identify problems. The primary duties are focused on warehousing, medical supply delivery, restocking/maintaining POU machines, and linen distribution/collection. This position is the first level of three within this job classification and reports to Logistics managers. Function/Duties of Position Performs receiving, stocking, data entry, picking, delivery, and functions as necessary to ensure required daily tasks are completed on time, and sufficiently, to meet the customer's needs for medical supplies and linen. Performs requirements of, and maintains compliance with, organizational guidelines and policies. When tasked, drives organizational vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, assists Logistics Fleet and Warehouse supervisors with the maintenance and refueling, maintains drivers log and fills out vehicle inspection report as necessary. Have and maintain a valid drivers license. Maintain equipment as assigned i.e. tire chains, inclement weather accessories, tire jacks etc. Performs emergency roadside service to vehicle such as changing flat tire. Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient working environment; Shelves: ensures shelves are undamaged, clean, neat, and properly marked with product information. Housekeeping: ensures the warehouse is clean, inventory is packaged and labeled properly, and non-stock products are neatly arranged. Facilities: ensures facility deficiencies are reported. Equipment: provides proper care is used when operating or using equipment and regular maintenance services to equipment are performed, logs and reports deficiencies to management. Performs other duties as assigned to ensure day-to-day efficient operation of the Logistics Department supply chain. Activities include cross-training within the MCW Bldg functions as well as other locations (Ex: main campus Dock 4 Receiving, POU Restock, etc.). Maintains knowledge of, adheres to, and knows the locations for, departmental policy, procedure, safety, and MSDS manuals. Performs inventory duties as required. Performs other duties as required. Required Qualifications * Must be able to read and write English and have basic mathematical skills. * Conflict resolution skills and the ability to demonstrate effective time management. * Must be able to maintain compliance with organizational guidelines and policies. * Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history. * Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation. Preferred Qualifications * Two years of warehouse experience and two years of customer service experience is preferred. * Experience performing warehouse and inventory work; AND training or experience providing knowledge of inventory control systems. * Working knowledge of hospital materials management distribution systems. Medical supply familiarity, knowledge of OHSU systems, and medical terminology are preferred. Additional Details Employee may be exposed to dirty linen while performing duties. The warehouse stocks hazardous items such as IV Fluids, Cidex, etc. which may be handled by employee. Appropriate safety precautions are taken before handling any hazardous/dirty items. In this position, you may be required to work in locations exposed and/or affected by: weather elements including rain, hail, snow, heat, humidity and wind; fluctuating noise levels; dust; vibrations and on occasion wet/slippery areas. Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. unassisted frequently, and up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to push and pull up to 800 to 1200 lbs. repetitively. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, rotate and stretch frequently while handling product up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Ability to traverse flat, uneven and/or steep terrain and slopes, frequently while manually controlling large and heavy loads in motion. Driving of OHSU owned/leased vehicles. Continually: Moving about in work area, Rapid-Mental/Hand/Eye Coordination. Frequently: Standing, Bending Forward, Crawling on Hand & Knees, Reaching Overhead, Lifting, Pushing Overhead, Moving Carts, Carry Items, Operation of Motor Vehicles.
