General Job Information
This position is located in the Department of Behavioral Health, Saint Elizabeths Hospital. Serves as Program Assistant providing a variety of clerical and administrative support.
Assist the Hospital Payroll Liaison, performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties to assist in ensuring employee's time is appropriately entered into the E-Time system and employees are paid accurately. Reviews and reconciles leave issues and makes necessary corrections. Researches rules, regulations, procedures, records, files, etc to secure full and factual information; coordinates processing of corrections; provides notifications to staff regarding "no time reported" and assists in typing and preparing training materials and gathering background information.
Receives calls and visitors to the office and responds to inquiries regarding routine office matters. Maintains office files.
Qualifications
In addition to meeting the basic requirement, this position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.

Minimum Education Requirement
Must possess a high school diploma or a certificate of equivalency (GED)
Work Experience
Experience applying general knowledge of payroll and timekeeping functions.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a controlled environment and involves some exposure to moderate risk of accidents and requires following basic safety precautions.
