Geriatrics and Extended Care Service (GEC) is seeking a Program Support Assistant (PSA) to serve across our clinical programs, to include: Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) in Lawton, OK. This position is under the supervision of the Administrative Officer (AO) of GEC and provide support to the program's Medical Director, Coordinator and clinical staff within the identified programs.

The incumbent is expected to make significant contributions to the achievement of the identified programs administrative tasks and will be required to meet the objectives and skills for all phases of health care administration and research, to include: database design, data collection, management, analysis and the writing of reports. In addition, the incumbent performs variety of administrative and clerical duties in the day to day management and operation of the designated program. The incumbent is expected to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model (i.e., Patient Care Aligned Team (PACT) Model) to facilitate and set priorities, along with deadlines in the flow of work to be accomplished among the team.

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-4 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Problem-solve customer complaints/requests both internal and external.
Extract medical information and data to prepare a variety of reports/correspondence.
Assist with research and collection of information for policy and procedure development.
Office automation: Knowledge/use of both Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Qualified typist-40 WPM
Compose and respond to various electronic and written requests timely and accurately.
Possess interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to changing situations/priorities.
