Position: Program Supervisor I
Location: Rain Garden, Wilsonville, OR
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Schedule may vary based on program needs. Position also requires on-call rotation.
About Rain Garden
Rain Garden is a permanent supportive housing program offering 29 studio apartments for individuals with mental health challenges and other disabilities. Our residents manage their leases with an independent property management company and receive 24/7 supportive mental health services onsite through Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare. Residents have access to therapy, case management, medication management, skills training, and medication administration support.
Job Summary
As a Program Supervisor I at Rain Garden, you'll play a crucial role in our interdisciplinary team, helping residents achieve their individual goals in a strengths-based, client-centered environment. You'll split your time between direct client care and administrative duties, ensuring the smooth operation of the program. Your responsibilities will include providing case management, therapeutic interventions, staff supervision, and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide case management, including skills training, care coordination, and advocacy.
Assist with administrative, clinical, and programmatic documentation.
Support staff coverage, including medication administration.
Model therapeutic interventions and counsel residents as needed.
Resolve challenges related to individual residents or the program.
Oversee daily program operations, especially in the Program Manager's absence.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and safety standards.
Maintain clinical records using the Electronic Health Record System (EHR).
Participate in staff meetings, supervision sessions, and departmental meetings.
Conduct performance reviews and assist in crisis situations following protocols.
Qualifications
Credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) through MHACBO.
Bachelor's degree in behavioral science OR three years of direct support experience.
1-year clinical experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of culturally specific services and Trauma Informed Care.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to operate computer systems.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DMV check.
Working Conditions
Residential setting with an onsite office.
Standard daytime hours with flexibility for occasional remote work.
Must remain alert to address potential crises.
Physical demands include desk work, building navigation, and occasional lifting (20-50 lbs).
