Program Supervisor I - New Life

New River Valley Community Services is seeking a Program Supervisor at New Life Recovery Center. New Life is a 24-hour per day residential substance use treatment center located in Fairlawn, VA. Individuals at New Life Recovery Center receive services where they reside in the facility for approximately 30 days (based on their progress towards reaching their treatment goals). The Program Supervisor would provide administrative management and supervision of the New Life Center. The Program Supervisor would be responsible for supervising direct service providers to ensure adequate program coverage, in addition to providing administrative management tasks that would include hiring/training DSPs, creating work schedules, approving client/staff notes/timecards, providing routine supervision to staff, assisting with crisis resolutions and general problem-solving among clients/direct staff. Lastly, availability is essential within this supervisory role; therefore, the program supervisor would be included on an on-call schedule with New Life program clinicians as needed.

Starting Salary: $48,695-Depending on Experience

Education Requirements:

• Associate's Degree with 5 years of professional experience required.

• Certified Substance Abuse Counselor preferred.

• Registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as QMHP-E or QMHP-A is preferred.
