The Program Supervisor I provides direct clinical and administrative guidance and supervision for Case Management Services. Assists the Service Manager in the day to day management, supervision, and development of program services, and in monitoring of service quality and program needs.

Provides services to individuals, families and groups as needed to meet the program's goals. Develops and maintains working relationships with clients, client's families, other Community Services Board (CSB) programs, and external resources.


  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work is required. Master's Degree is preferred Three years of supervised experience providing services, preferably in a community mental health/substance use disorder setting is required. At least one year of experience providing supervision is preferred Registration as a QMHP or trainee is required. Must maintain QMHP status and all required trainings/CEUs. If Master's level, LMHP or LMHP-E is preferred, but not required.

VIEW JOBS 11/18/2022 12:00:00 AM 2023-02-16T00:00 <p>OVERVIEW</p><p>The Program Director I, is responsible for ensuring that administrative and clinical aspects of Case Management services are responsive to the needs of individuals and the communities in which they reside.</p><p>The Program Director I, is responsible for providing information to the Senior Director on all matters of SUD, MH, and ID/DD services including: personnel; budget and fiscal issues; service planning and implementation; productivity; regulation compliance; and evaluation. Provides overall management and program/clinical supervision of program(s) services assigned. <br><br> Ensures all programs under his/her supervision meet productivity, budget, utilization, accreditation, and licensure requirements. Provides leadership to ensure services are coordinated with other service components within the agency. The Program Director I provides supervision, either directly or by delegation, to staff assigned. <br><br> Serves on agency and community teams and work groups as appropriate; serves as a member of the Administrative Team. Provides direct services to clients as needed.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Graduation from an accredited university with at least a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related human services field, license eligible is required.• At least five years of experience providing direct clinical services, preferably in a community based mental health setting is required.• Extensive experience providing administrative supervision and program management is required• Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist with the State of Virginia is preferred. SUD certification helpful (CSAC, MAC, LSATP, etc.)</li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license (state of Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) with an acceptable driving record.
