The WISe Program Supervisor at Lutheran Community Services Northwest plays a crucial role in the organization's mission to improve the lives of individuals and communities in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. This position contributes to the key agency objectives by providing direct supervision and oversight to staff involved in intensive behavioral health programs for Medicaid youth under 21. The supervisor ensures that WISe services align with LCSNW's requirements and comply with regulatory standards, ultimately aiding in the agency's efforts to positively impact the well-being of youth and families.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Provide Leadership and Direction to Staff: As a leader within the team, you will be responsible for recruiting and training new staff, strategizing their workload, overseeing their progress, and guiding them in skill enhancement. You'll also evaluate their performance and offer assistance when they encounter challenges, including addressing complaints and resolving problems such as handling client grievances and implementing the client grievance procedure on behalf of the client.

● Facilitate Role-Specific and WISe Team Meetings: You'll play a pivotal role in organizing and leading meetings where team members discuss their roles and collaborate. Additionally, you'll contribute to the management of larger team meetings for the WISe program.

● Direct Client Care Support: In critical situations, you will provide direct assistance to clients to ensure their needs are met, particularly in urgent or high-risk scenarios.

● Identify and Facilitate Staff Training: You will assist in recognizing the training requirements of WISe Program staff, as well as help them access the necessary training to enhance their skills.

● Client Assignment and Program Goal Support: You will take charge of client assignments when new clients are enrolled, deciding which team members will assist them and ensuring that tasks are carried out promptly.

Additionally, you will provide support to staff in reaching program goals, including productivity targets. This involves overseeing the completion of documentation, reporting outcomes and activities in accordance with program and agency requirements, and maintaining documentation in audit-ready condition.

● Support Team in Achieving Program Goals: Your role involves aiding your team in reaching the program's objectives. This includes overseeing correct documentation and reporting on achievements.

● Educate and Outreach: You will actively engage in educating individuals about the WISe program and participating in community meetings as required.

This contributes to the program's visibility and ensures that important information is disseminated effectively. Job Description 1 Role(s): Role-specific responsibilities for this job are outlined as follows.

● Team Member. ● Supervisor. This job is responsible for supervising employees and/or non-employees, such as interns or volunteers. This includes and is not limited to making employment decisions; setting and communicating clear goals in alignment with relevant objectives and required outcomes; and effectively managing individual and team performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Five years of related professional experience; specifically in providing direct services within the behavioral health field. Able to demonstrate expertise in providing essential support to individuals and families, and crisis intervention with a focus on promoting mental health and well-being.

● Adheres to and applies established operational processes in a timely, appropriate way

● Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment

● Bachelor's in social work, psychology or related field; 10 years' experience will be considered in place of degree

● Counselor Agency Affiliated Registration is required within (90) days of hire. Equivalent credentials may be accepted, depending on individual program or location requirements.

● Fluency in English both spoken and written

● Intermediate mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft 365 applications

● Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.

● Works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle.

● Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment

● Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and minimal periods of increased physical activity including, but not limited to, typing and using a computer or other electronic devices, engaging in video conferencing and virtual meetings, sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods, and occasional stretching and light movements to reduce discomfort from prolonged sitting.

● Moves equipment/materials weighing up to (20) pounds

● Travels between worksites regularly; responsible for transporting clients in personal and/or agency vehicle, which requires valid driver's license, auto insurance, and motor vehicle records clearance

● Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches

● Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements; SAM/OIG healthcare sanctions
