The Green Operations Program Specialist optimizes NORESCO's offerings and delivers custom programs aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction within our energy efficiency projects. This creative and adaptive thinking Specialist will assist a small team in developing and delivering energy awareness-communications, and marketing programs, including Energy Conservation Through Behavior Change and other customized Green Operations (GO) solutions, including Customer Care (CC) duties. The Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and deliver on-site awareness-communication, curriculum enhancement, and behavior change programs for clients in multiple verticals.
Prepare written proposals for prospective clients.
Conduct customer interviews and administer surveys, including Human Behavior Energy AuditSM surveys and compile, analyze, and report survey results.
Assist with development & design of new offerings related to organizational energy conservation.
Assist with review and of all GO/CC customer service deliverables.
Prepare and deliver customer presentations both one-on-one and as a member of a project team.
Assist with NORESCO and client promotional and marketing activities.
Conduct periodic project performance reviews to assess customer satisfaction level with NORESCO construction, M&V, O&M, and GO activities. Communicate results to other departments.
Coordinate the activities of NORESCO departments to provide timely troubleshooting and a clear and unified response and resolution of customer service issues.
Record vital information about customer interactions within the Customer Relationship Management system.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction that results in excellent customer references and positions NORESCO to earn repeat business from existing customers.

At NORESCO, the Program Specialist plays a vital customer service role while also developing and delivering customized awareness-communication programs that enhance the energy and water efficiency project and promote enduring customer relationships. Specialists help customers by understanding their needs, both before and after project implementation, and acquiring a broad understanding of all aspects of NORESCO's business. The Specialist enhances the success of the project with people-focused energy awareness and communications programs, promoting project understanding and adoption among customer stakeholders, and providing timely and equitable resolution to problems. Specialists must have the communication and business skills necessary to bridge the gap between internal and external decision makers, departments and building occupants. Specialists translate customer needs into action plans, achieve necessary buy-in, and then implement the program, assess program effectiveness, and modify for subsequent implementation. Specialists provide problem solving and creativity to ensure customer satisfaction while producing positive and lasting change in energy and water consuming behaviors among NORESCO's customers.
