This exciting opportunity as a Program Quality Manager is suited for someone looking for a challenge in a frequently changing and diverse environment. Primary activity involves the leadership and project support engaging with various aspects of the supply chain and the IPMT. The ultimate objective is to drive a multitude of program quality activities that evolve our products and ensure requirements are maintained to ensure safe and uninterrupted flight.
Qualified candidates will provide support, leadership, and direction with emphasis on team building amongst the Module Centers, P&W Suppliers and Partners. They will be able to communicate effectively and possess strong tactical leadership and business acumen. The Program Quality Manager will excel at forward thinking while driving activities and projects forward in a customer focused manner; thus meeting the demands of P&W customers.
The candidate will become a member of the cross-functional Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) and an integral part of the Integrated Program Deployment (IPD) process. The employee will drive program quality activities by coordinating with CIPTs, Module Centers, Supplier Quality, and Engine Centers. In this role, the PQM will be the primary liaison with the Airframe Customer for all quality issues. The PQM will manage the entire lifecycle of the P&W engine, from part production, engine assembly, and aftermarket. The candidate will lead activities to drive the program's quality, fleet management and engine performance goals.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Assertive and results-oriented combined with situational problem solving skills
Ability to work with all levels of organizational management
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other P&W decision management systems
High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement using ACE Tools.
Ability to travel domestic and international
US Citizenship required due to government contracts
