The Quality Assurance organization has an opportunity for you to join the GTF Program Quality Management team.

In this role, you will lead and support dynamic activities on a growing commercial engine program. Activities will engage Customers, internal organizations, and internal and external producers driven to high levels of Quality performance related to product development, certification, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands and communicate the 'voice of the customer' (externally and internally) in decisions affecting quality and performance.

  • Work with functional groups to help define and establish quality and process improvements.

  • Utilizes PPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risks and propose mitigation solutions.

  • Maintain quality metrics and reports, customer scorecards, corrective actions, updating and publishing weekly and monthly quality reports.

  • Identify production, delivery risks; ensure implementation of effective RCCA.

  • Provide recommendations, support CIPT on targets for product safety, performance, quality/manufacturability, reliability, service life.

  • Ability to communicate and work at all levels within the business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business or quality field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Potential domestic and international travel required (up to 15%).

  • Strong Project Management skills.

  • Highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and pursue continued growth and developmental opportunities.

  • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely, sustainable manner.

  • Knowledge of the P&W Quality Management System.

  • Working knowledge of complex engine component and assemblies.

  • Sound business judgment, strong organization, leadership, team building, social, communications, writing and presentation skills.

  • Ability to make and meet commitments, balance, and resolve conflicting priorities.

What is my role type?

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
