    SAIC seeking a Program Protection Engineer to support the Project Management Office for Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PMO ASE) located in Huntsville, AL.

The Program Protection Engineer will provide Security Engineering and Acquisition Program Protection support to each ASE product office and function as an integral member of a team of Government, Military, and Contractor Personnel that provides program, engineering, and technical support to PMO ASE. PMO ASE is an acquisition management organization under the Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S). The team provides acquisition management support, program research, engineering, logistics, and technical support for the development and fielding of world-class aircraft survivability equipment.

  • Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Major duties and responsibilities include the following: (a) Identification of Critical Program Information (CPI), (b) Critical Technologies, (c) Supply Chain Risk Management, (d) Program Protection Planning development, and implementation.

  • Additional duties include the following;

  • Development of various documentation in support of Technology and Program Protection Planning

  • Conduct System Documentation Reviews and/or Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)

  • Coordinate with the Army Research and Technology Protection Center (ARTPC) for CPI assessments

  • Implement the Critical Program Information (CPI) Assessment Process

  • Complete Intelligence Production Requests (IPR) required for Multidisciplinary Counterintelligence Threat Assessments (MDCITA)

  • Conduct CPI Vulnerability Risk Analysis

  • Identify and Implement Countermeasures

  • Coordinate with Army Protective Technologies Office for AT design and implementation support

  • Conduct Anti-Tamper (AT) Assessments

  • Coordinate AT Plan Development

  • Implement Supply Chain Risk & Security Management

  • Submit/update Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Threat Assessment Center (TAC) Requests for supply chain threat assessments

  • Development and Maintenance of Security Classification Guide (SCG)

  • Support Defense Exportability Features

  • Development and Maintenance of Operational Security (OPSEC) Plan

  • Development of Technology Assessment / Control Plan

  • Development of Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters (DDL)

  • Coordinate with the 902nd Military Intelligence to develop Counterintelligence Support Plans (CISP)

  • Addressing Program Protection Requirements into Statements of Work (SOW)

Candidate must be able to interact successfully with personnel from all branches of the military, government civilians, contractors and engineers. Supported acquisition activities range from concept exploration, related research and development projects, design and development through test and evaluation, fielding, advanced technology demonstrations, military exercises, and technology insertions into operational weapon systems.

  • Travel Requirements:

  • CONUS travel is not expected to exceed 10%. No OCONUS travel is anticipated.

  • Education Requirement(s):*

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience (4 years' equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)

  • Clearance Requirement:*

  • Must possess an active Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret.

  • Relevant Work Experience:*

  • Security operations; security management; physical, industrial, operations, organizational, or international security

  • Research & technology protection; acquisition systems protection or program protection

  • Previous experience developing Program Protection Plans (PPP).

We are looking for a Program Protection Engineer (PPE) to join our team to support the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office Systems Engineering Team. Your day-to-day duties will include: * Supporting the development of the Final Anti-Tamper (AT) Plan. * Supporting ongoing maturation of the IFMC Program Protection (PP) Plan. * Executing a holistic threat vulnerability risk assessment (TVRA) of the IFMC System of Systems (SoS). * Proposing engineering and other changes to the IFMC SoS. * Keeping abreast of emerging AT and PP issues and implementations. * Being a source of knowledge and guidance to the Agile software development teams. * Technical briefings and advisement to leadership on recommended courses of action, trade studies, engineering, or other changes, and TVRA impacts to the IFMC mission. At a minimum you should have: * An active SECRET security clearance. * A bachelors degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering or mathematics. * 5+ years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above. * Experience with authoring and implementing PP Plans, or sections thereof, for tactical, networked weapon or surveillance systems. * Experience identifying and protecting Critical Program Information (CPI). * Experience with DoD AT techniques and implementation(s). * Detailed understanding of information assurance concepts of confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation. * Experience implementing, managing, and using audit trails and logs. * Experience implementing or using key management plans. * Familiarity with current cryptographic techniques and implementations, Information Technology (IT), network technologies, and cloud technologies. * The ability to work directly with the Army Anti-Tamper Evaluation Team and the IFMC Agile software developers as needed. * Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset. You will be highly desirable if you have: * The ability to identify and investigate/analyze areas of concern and develop mitigation activities. * Independent critical thinking; creativity; and a team attitude. * Experience with supporting and participating in design activities impacted by PP: the prime contractor develops the code based upon government provided designs and guidance. * Certified Technology Protection Officer and experience with threat modeling.
