JOB SUMMARY:

Under supervision of the Program Administrator, assists with the Military Family Relief Fund (MFRF) (A.R.S. 41-608.4) established by Arizona Legislature to provide financial assistance to family members of deceased, wounded, injured or seriously ill service members of Veterans. In addition, this position is responsible for the assisting with coordinating the outreach Minority Veterans Programs, which includes planning, preparations and implementation of three annual Women Veteran Expos; gathering pertinent data specific to the needs of minority Veterans; Making evidence based recommendations to the Program Administrator to address the needs of minority Veterans; assist with the implementation of the Arizona Road- map to Veterans Employment; ongoing support of the Arizona Road- map to end Veterans Homeless

SPECIAL SELECTION FACTOR(S):

This position requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver's license appropriate to the assignment. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver's license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12).

LOCATION 1616 West Adams Phoenix, AZ 85007 JOB SUMMARY Under the guidance of the Director of the Administration Division, the Program Project Specialist 1 is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the work-flow of the ASLD Public Records requests, Cash Office, Mail Room and Data Entry processes; The incumbent also serves as ASLD's Vehicle Fleet Coordinator, as well as providing back-up support for the Board of Appeals Clerk. The position provides Administrative and Program Support to all sections in the Administration Division, as follows: * Administrative Procedures and Information Section: Reviewing, planning and initiating the e-mail and document search activities for all "Formal" Public Record requests received by ALSD. Support the APIS Manager in reviewing documents and preparing the document package for submission to the AG's office. Maintaining the standard work and train the staff on the procedures for scanning of internal and external files and documents. Support the Board of Appeals Clerk in coordinating programs relating to the Department's legal, litigation, administrative hearings and settlement conferences including Appeals of Commissioner decisions with the Office of Administrative Hearings, Rules Management and the Land Selection Board. Serve as back-up for the Board of Appeals Clerk for the monthly BOA meetings. * Title and Contracts Section: Issuing customer credentials to Salesforce, receive credential requests from customers via email or in person, researches agency's rolodex system for any existing accounts, processes request by completing any necessary customer outreach, enters customer information in Salesforce. Create, track and monitor Commissioner orders for Lease Rental Defaults, Initiate the Collections process with the AG's Office and monitor and report on the active collections backlog. * Accounting Section: Collecting, researching and coding all vendor invoices and statements received by the department.
