It has the ability to intercept missiles both inside and outside the atmosphere, defends population centers and high value infrastructures, is inter-operable with other ballistic missile defense systems and is highly mobile and deployable worldwide. As a Program Planner supporting the THAAD program you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating weekly updates of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for THAAD Advanced Capabilities Development (ACD), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and other Strategic Missile and Defense (SMD) programs and support the integration of the Integrated Master Plan into the Integrated Master Schedule using Real-Time Project and Microsoft Project. Additional responsibilities in this Planner role will include, but not be limited to:
Establish and coordinate business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives multiple sites for THAAD and other SMD programs as required
Maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the Integrated Master Schedule, and the Program Summary Master Schedule
Compile and report Monthly Schedule Analysis of Critical Path, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRAs), and 14 Point Assessment to THAAD Production Component Management
Understand Lockheed Martin Program Performance Management (PPM), Program Performance Management Process (PPMP), and Program Performance Management Directive (PPMD) requirements in support of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Work with COBRA reporting tools to ensure proper cost/schedule integration
Serve as Lead Planner across multiple work sites

Bachelors degree with 8-10 years of professional experience
4-6 years program planning experience on a government contract
Must be a United States citizen
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
8 years of experience with automated scheduling tools
Microsoft Project Server (MSPS) or Real Time Project (RTP) knowledge
Experience working on a program as program planning technical expert in the past
Strong leadership characteristics and communication skills
Comfortable briefing senior level management and government counterparts
