Our program has an immediate opportunity for an early to mid-career Program Planner to join our mission on the Conventional Prompt Strike Program (CPS) supporting the Zumwalt contract. As our Program Planner, you will provide functional assistance for the Reentry Organization in support of program execution planning activities. To be successful, you must have a strong background in program planning as it relates to the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and its alignment with industry standards for program performance management compliance.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will.
Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in order to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues
Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms
required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives
Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues that arise, communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions
Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to execution of the Program
Schedule presentations which may include Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Management
Establish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for
surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management
Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule
Producing and Delivering IPMR CDRLs (Integrated Program Management Report and Contract Deliverable Requirements List)

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology.
Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret government security clearance
Active Secret security clearance
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
5+ years of program planning experience
Proficient with one or more scheduling tool such as MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, or comparable scheduling tool (such as @Risk, Milestones Professional, OnePager Pro, Acumen, OPDEC)
Experience conducting schedule integrity checks. critical path analyses and work around plans
Strong influencing and relationship management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Ability to think outside the box.
