JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Program Performance Analyst will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform and support financial and business decisions for the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) as it relates to its payer programs. This position contributes to the business and financial obligations of the ACO by assessing past and current performance and projecting future opportunities and needs to support the ACO's financial goals and viability.

The Program Performance Analyst will generate complex, customized analysis and research deliverables. These deliverables are typically multipart and sophisticated and are used for key decision making with material financial and business implications. Customers of these analyses will include ACO Executives and Leadership, Founders, ACO Board, ACO Committees, and Accountable Care Services leaders.

This position will work externally with payers, obtaining data and pulling data from payer portals, as well as working internally with other members of the ACO team to transform data into a financial business story with actionable steps to improve outcomes. The Program Performance Analyst will support the realization of a high value ACO network that meets the Triple aim of optimizing the health, total cost of care, and patient experience of the population using data to inform financial and business decision-making for the ACO. The ideal candidate is adept at using all available data sets to find opportunities available in order to make more informed financial and business decision.

Major areas of focus and accountability include payer program opportunity analysis, negotiation support, risk performance analysis, program performance investigations and analyses, program performance report design, in-depth program performance analyses. This position requires the ability to comprehend complex data models, deliver accurate outputs, healthcare cost drivers, and build strong relationships with other ACO teams. Strong financial, analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to conduct oneself with tact, diplomacy, and discretion are required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a business related subject area is required. Formal training or experience in, database administration and/or data analysis.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in a health care setting in designing, producing, and/or interpreting quantitative and qualitative analysis outputs required. Experience creating and presenting financial, analytical and opportunity reporting is required.
