Responsibilities

  • You will perform administrative functions for the Wing's Administration Department and report to the Administrator Officer providing support for audits, inventories, meetings, investigations, mishaps, incidents, and other related functions.

  • You will cover a wide variety of office automation administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: various word processing assignments and graphic and database programs.

  • You will revise/review correspondences and instructions as per a guidance manual. Deliver, pickup, and distribute mail and process incoming and outgoing messages through an automated system.

  • You will maintain an up-to-date electronic library of administrative files and update command rosters and telephone directories.

  • You will initiate evaluation reports utilizing an automated software as well as retrieve and upload personnel awards in an automated system.

Qualifications

FOR GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing office automation support by generating reports or documents for a program.

FOR GS-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to the GS-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to provide clerical support maintaining records or documents in an office setting for an organization.

This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
