For additional company information, please visit: www.mtsi-va.com Responsibilities The successful applicant will provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) flight test engineering for ground and flight test operations on the B-52 in support of the LRSO program office.

Tasks will include coordination and execution of pre-flight and post-flight activities to ensure aircraft's readiness for successful test execution, to include; issuance, and closure of documentation relating to work performed on the aircraft, clearance for flight (aircraft and hardware/software subsystems), safety coordination process, and coordination of aircraft modifications.

Position requires control and tracking of aircraft configuration, coordinating and staging of support equipment, developing and maintaining aircraft test schedules, and coordinating with other organizations for successful test execution. Related skills include:

Experience designing and building test plans, ground and flight test cards, final reports, Test and Evaluation Master Plans Experience testing weapons Knowledge of installed aircraft systems/subsystems and support equipment Knowledge of avionics/mission systems, munitions systems and comm/radar systems Knowledge of OSD and Air Force T&E policies This position will act as the primary program office focal point in support of the B-52 test and development team in planning and executing the LRSO test effort.

The ability to interface with all levels of project management is desired. Above average oral and written communication skills are required.

Exceptional planning and coordinating skills are also required. Qualifications Required: Bachelors in a technical field (engineering, science, mathematics, or related) from an accredited institution with 15+ years' experience.

Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI required. Travel throughout US required. DAWIAA T&E Level 2 required Desired:

Masters degree (electrical, computer, aeronautical, or equivalent) plus 10 years' experience desired USAF Test Pilot School graduate 10+ years' total experience in Flight Test w/ 6+ years experience in DT&E DAWIA Level III certification (T&E) AFOTEC experience desired Multiple organizational experience with: SPO, AFNWC, OSI/PJ, WSMR, Sandia Lab, Los Alamos National lab, Oak Ridge National lab, RMD and OSD #mtsiRequired: Bachelors in a technical field (engineering, science, mathematics, or related) from an accredited institution with 15+ years' experience.
