Duties

1.Reviews closely programs and sub-recipient systems for controlling program administration, particularly eligibility determination, financial management systems, and compliance with applicable governmental regulations.

2.Performs verifications of participant eligibility.

3.Performs site visits of sub-recipients and administrative entities to assure compliance with program directives.

4.Submits final draft of reports to Director or Division Head.

5.Interviews staff and program participants about conditions of employment.

6.Conducts client payroll validations and audits of recipient expenditures.

7.Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications

1.Three (3) years work experience in any of the following areas: human relations, accounting, business administration, or governmental assistance programs.

2.One (1) year of education in social sciences, accounting, business administration, or other related fields may substitute for each year of experience.

Physical Demands:

1.Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).

2.Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.

3.Requires visual perception and discrimination.

4.Requires ability to communicate orally.

5.Job must be performed with or without accommodations.

Work Environment:

1.Tasks are regularly performed in doors in an office environment.

2.There is limited exposure to extreme weather conditions. May have normal exposure to dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise.

Travel:

Travel will be required locally from location to location to accomplish job assignments and visit job sites.

Any other higher level class for which eligible and qualified
