This program manager is responsible for nursing clinical excellence as driven by evidence-based professional practice, nursing and patient outcomes, and professional standards set forth by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) for Pathway to Excellence and Magnet designations and achieve compliance with all nursing excellence standards. This program manager will serve as a system resource to sustain and comply with the ANCC nursing excellence requirements. He/She must be able to effectively manage and lead change.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Master's degree

Additional requirements:

§ Type of degree: Nursing or health-related field. One academic degree in Nursing is required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

§ Valid Ohio RN license

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 5 - 7 years of job-related experience

Preferred experience: Previous nursing management experience preferred. Prior experience with ANCC (Pathway to Excellence & or Magnet designation process) is preferred.

Other experience requirements: One academic degree in Nursing is required. Must have a minimum of five years recent clinical, education or leadership experience.
