Within our Cold Chain vertical, we bring cutting-edge IoT (Internet of Things) technology to serve vaccination efforts worldwide, especially those focused on reaching children in under-resourced countries.

Partnering with leading institutions such as Gavi,, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Qualcomm Wireless Reach, Nexleafs sensors and data analytics services help deliver safe vaccines to over 12.5 million babies annually and connect rural homes with mobile money payments for reducing carbon emissions through cleaner cooking. We work in a diverse set of countries, including India, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Kenya.


This is a pivotal time for us to bring real-time cold chain monitoring and data to countries committed to strengthening their immunization program and were looking for a self-starter to join our team. Youll play a critical role in advocating for the role of data in shaping the successful and equitable distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine while strengthening routine immunization programs globally. Working closely with our Vaccine Program Director, youll manage our cold chain program and ensure the successful implementation of our Covid-19 strategy. 1. Lead cold chain program scale by building and fostering partnerships that will extend our impact into new countries:

  • Nurture new and existing relationships with implementation partners, national Ministries of Health, and other institutions and individuals
  • Partner with global stakeholders (NGOs, vaccine manufacturers, etc) to share learnings, iterate and receive feedback

2. Collaborate with our Strategic Partnerships and Fundraising (SPF) team to elevate our brand and enable growth:

  • Foster new and existing partner and funder relationships by providing ongoing progress updates, processing all their requests, invoice approval etc. to carry out our public health initiatives
  • Coordinate communication between the in-country cold chain teams and the SPF team for new proposals (e.g. developing milestones)
  • Create compelling materials, one-pagers, and pitch decks on program initiatives and impacts (more stories)

3. Deliver on Shared Program Milestones

  • Work with data and program teams to design, implement and oversee program evaluations to ensure we are constantly learning and improving on our approach
  • Own grant milestones for four multi-million dollar grants, including the launch of a new grant in 2021 (delivery, tracking, budget/allocation management and reporting)
  • Lead best practices and learning dissemination efforts by generating advocacy materials such as data-driven reports, building case studies showing successful use of data, and creating presentations for stakeholders and countries
  • Manage small pilot projects and field trials by establishing partnerships, defining the approach and working closely with country teams on implementation
  • Act as an ambassador for Nexleaf at conferences and events

Note: The office is located in Los Angeles, California. This role is fully remote through July 2021 and office visits will be 2-3/month thereafter.

  • 5+ years of large scale project management experience in both small and large organizations, with 2+ in a non-profit setting (experience in science, public health, or immunization supply chain a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal leadership skills including experience building relationships across a variety of global stakeholders
  • Able to think strategically and navigate big picture needs while being hands-on
  • High learning agility, balancing our need for process, iteration and adaptability
  • Strong presentation and technology skills (Google Suite, Salesforce, Powerpoint/ Google Slides)
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and weekend hours to communicate across global time zones
  • Must travel to field sites in Asia and Africa and be adaptable with unanticipated changes (after Covid-19 travel restrictions are lifted) Travel is upto 20%.

This role will provide support to Sales Reps by ordering product and may be required to expedite product delivery on an emergency basis.
