We are an Executive Search Firm who has been hired to identify a Program manager in the Seattle Washington area.
Program Manager (Seattle PSE) Job Description for Program Manager:
The program manager is responsible for overall daily planning and execution of service contracts.
Responsible for all customer interface, sub contracts, subsequent new business expansion build out, operations and maintenance of the network.
Effectively interact with all levels of the customer organization to whom delivers its services or obtains utility subcontracted services in support of that contract.
Prepares and submits annual operations budgets, delivers the pro forma revenue stream, supervises on-site personnel and coordinates the activities of sub-contractor and customer personnel assigned to the contract.
Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers.
Support and adhere to Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Required Skills for Program Manager: Requires the interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills to interact with utility customers, potential utility customers, contractors organizations, and local community agencies.
Must possess the abilities to work with a broad spectrum of people from customer, senior management team, to the entry level worker.
The ability to coordinate, schedule and prioritize the activities of the Supervisors/leads and other personnel within the scope of the contract team and involved in complex and multi-discipline activities is a must.
Personal Computer knowledge Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Keyboard/typing skills Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Required Experience: A BS degree in electrical, network, systems, RF, computer, business or related disciplines or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification coupled with relevant experience are required.
5+ years of experience in project management or a similar multi-disciplined business environment.
Experience in the utility, telecommunications or similarly regulated industries is a plus and benefits the individual, as well as the goals of the program and company.
5+ to 7 years exp.
Travel: Up to 25%

This job contributes to Starbucks success by planning, organizing and executing engineering assignments and projects that develop technology and methods innovations to enhance packaging machine productivity and capacity. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: * Develops and implements engineering designs specific to packaging machinery that will improve efficiencies, increase capacity and reduce costs. Builds consensus across functions as project team leader on complex projects and initiatives. * Understands and has working knowledge of packaging materials and how they interact with packaging equipment. * Is proficient and experienced with equipment that performs VFFS rollstock package forming, automatic corrugated case erection/loading, cartoning, palletizing, labeling, online printing, fitment applications, and gas flushing / vacuum packaging technology, * Experience with Technical Brief and Engineering Study Documents, outlining: technical scope, equipment recommendations, system and equipment performance/design rates, critical assumptions, technical risks, labor implications, high level cost estimates, first pass system layouts, long lead equipment deliveries, and value engineering. Technical member of multiple project teams with responsibility for final performance of project. * Develops and executes CQV process with emphasis on equipment and line startups. * Applies logic in problem-solving and analysis of alternatives to assess the financial and operations impact of business initiatives. Assesses critical information to make effective decisions or recommendations. * Proactively seeks the most cost effective solutions balancing new versus rebuilt equipment, existing and new technologies and hand labor versus automation. * Develops Requests for Proposal and bid analyses, and leads contract negotiations as required to meet business needs. Manages project budget. * Investigates, tests, and validates new technology and packaging equipment. * Develops project plans that define scope, schedule, budget and business impact and risks. Executes plans and identifies issues or obstacles, gains alignment and brings to resolution. * Assess the technical capabilities of and provide technical support to contract manufacturers employed to deliver Starbucks projects. * May perform general plant engineering work (at plant locations). * Proactively seeks the most cost effective solutions balancing new versus rebuilt equipment, existing and new technologies and hand labor versus automation. * Investigate, test, develop, and validate new technology equipment. * Develop consensus agreement amongst the project teams, research, quality, engineering leadership, operations and plant leadership. * Assess the technical capabilities of and provide technical support to contract manufacturers employed to deliver Starbucks projects. * Promotes development of strong working relationships among engineering and distribution, manufacturing or packaging partners. Mentors less experienced engineering partners.
