Position: Program Manager, Technology Operations

Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712

Duties: Financial Management: comprehend the financial plan for implementation of multiple projects.

Monitor delivery schedules and cost expenditure for multiple projects within a program. Program Estimation: assess and identify the resources required for successful completion of the project of small to medium complexity. Identify potential risks for successful completion of the project.

Business Operations: cater to key stakeholders and their priorities. Participate in business task to get things done in own unit or area. Communicate key considerations for business decision making process.

Comment on the organizations business model and financial goals. Cite examples of types of information needed to make sound business decisions. Technology Landscape Awareness: get involved and provide support to technology/ domain stakeholders to solve complex issues (i.e. suggest what skills are needed, how does the technology impacts). Develop business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings.

Demonstrate deep functional knowledge of the business unit/domain. Translate business unit/domain requirements into projects, activities, and tasks and aligns to overall technology strategy. Serve as an interpreter and conduit to connect business unit/domain needs with tangible solutions and results.

Participate in creating new processes and ways of working. Program Definition: define goals, deliverables and schedules for managing multiple medium to high complexity projects within a program, in line with the overall strategic objectives. Create accountability matrix for the projects.

Decompose the program into multiple modules and assign responsibility assignments and milestones for each module. Comprehends the operational and financial factors that drive project success. Program Monitoring and Control: monitor and evaluate the progress of the projects against approved milestones and timelines.

Lead cross functional and/or pillar coordination meetings to review schedule progress, health, issues/risks, and key dependencies of the projects. Take appropriate measures when required to bring program health on track in case of adversity. Influencing and Building Stakeholder Consensus: communicate, articulately and concisely, in a one-to-one/stakeholder meeting involving one-two teams.

Proactively build personal network and seek and provide constructive feedback. Present data and logic to and influence team, customers and stakeholders. Articulate results/recommendations in a structured manner using relevant data. Actively listens to others and acknowledges different technical perspectives and connects to the product/technology in development.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in computer science, engineering management, business or a related field plus 3 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related experience OR 5 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related experience

Skills required: Must have experience with:

Program and Project Planning & Execution; Helping Product Managers & Owners in building and grooming product backlogs besides prioritization; Performing Scrum ceremonies for Back End Datalake and Front End Application Teams; Planning & executing data migration from Teradata to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using automated data migration tools; End to End Program Planning & execution of data migration to Dataproc clusters and decommission of Cloud Break Clusters using Spark and Hive tools like UDP, DQ and SDV; Data Ingestion into Datalake from various source systems with Hadoop, DB2, Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server; Picturizing end to end data flow diagrams and process flow charts using MS Visio for Item Generation across multiple business units; Building solid Testing Center of Excellence for multiple application teams using Test Automation and Test Data Management Tools; Enabling teams to perform Data Design & Modeling using Erwin and building data visualization / presentation layer using tools like Power BI, Looker and Thought Spot; Creating Program / Project Scheduling for Teradata to Cloud Migration Program using MS Project with all dependencies captured and tracked; and Managing projects building Retail Reporting applications with features enriched with dynamic business rules validation that run across billions of rows and stringent performance and resource utilization requirements.
