The role requires an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrable track record in managing Programmes and Projects to deliver defined objectives to achieve strategic goals by directing the project activities of the various functions involved. Projects are defined and directed by the Stanley Engineered Fastening management team functional leads in line with business requirements.
You will undertake work-plan setup and management using project management tools, production of status reports for discussion with project managers and the relevant executives and management and support of project control processes, including provision of data analysis, and metrics to enable you to work through the lifecycle of a Project or Programme, to implementation.
Projects will be defined and directed by the Programme Manager in line with business requirements.

Interaction will primarily be with Technology, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and ad-hoc contact with other functions.
Education & Skills
At least 2 years' experience of working or volunteering within a project
Experience of working in an engineering environment
Experience of carrying out research
Experience of working in teams
Experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
Experience of setting up events and meetings
Knowledge of project management
Knowledge of techniques e.g. Milestone planning, critical path
Knowledge of risk analysis e.g. probability and impact of an event, and appropriate countermeasures.
Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines under pressure
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally to small meetings
Word processing skills/ability to be self-sufficient in terms of administration
Ability to draft memo / instructions
Ability to use Microsoft Project to generate and update Gantt charts, and to analyse project costs.
Ability to research and generate a business case.

Willingness to travel between SEF sites, and other sites, as required to progress projects.
