Job Overview

Responsible for leading and directing high priority, large complex enterprise programs or projects across all lines of business. Oversees all aspects of program management implementation; including resource management, vendor management, time management, project management, change management and financial management.

Leads large business and IT teams in a demanding healthcare environment. Interacts with high-level executive, presenting project status, issues, risks, milestones, project financial health and project projections. Coaches and mentors internal project managers and overseeing vendor project managers.

Develops and presents PMO methodology, reports, deliverables and toolsets in a newly created PMO. This position will also participate in vendor contract management.

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and three to five years of previous work related experience. Formal Certification in Project Management, PMP from Project Management Institute preferred. Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
