You will be responsible to execute global programs, deliver and implement best in class, pan Medtronic Supply Management Methodologies, Processes and Tools, to enhance our Supply Management Partners efficiency and improving ease of work in the organization. The programs are of various nature and around, but not limited to: Digitalization of Sourcing Processes and tools, SRM, Development of control towers, Category strategy processes, Sourcing processes and tools, Sourcing University, Communication and reporting, Global Project Hopper and Tracking Tool.

You will develop and implement internal/external sourcing best practices, tools, and templates across our Medtronic Supply Management organization. You will lead programs that will deliver tools and processes to improve, change, and drive results for the company partnering with our Sourcing Excellence Directors, supply management business teams, Global categories group and our functional groups such as Operational Excellence, Global Supply Chain, Quality, etc. to ensure project/program strategies are fully aligned and destined for success. The Program Manager must ensure key deliverables are met in a timely and accurate fashion by building strong partnerships across the program and within functional teams, and clearly communicating at all levels to illuminate opportunities and risks.

You will:

  • Represent relevant Supply Management Sourcing Excellence Strategies

  • Ensure Voice of Customer is taken into account

  • Leverage Problem Solving/Critical Thinking skills to ensure Programs are well defined and meet the SMART criteria

  • Develop Programs executive sponsor and cross functional teams

  • Execute Key programs with the right level of monitoring

  • Identify potential project risks and deploy mitigation actions.

  • Maintain proactive and effective communications to all functional stakeholders and Leadership.

  • Promote Global Supply Management strategies: Innovate, Inspire, Accelerate.

  • Develop and conduct trainings for the implementation plan.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in Supply Management, Supply Chain, Operations of similar function in a large, multi-divisional coporatation.

  • Experience developing and operationalizing strategy

  • Ability to lead change in a complex environment

  • Strong facilitation, influencing, organizing, and presentation/communication skills

  • Proven ability to achieve results through building partnerships and influence skills

  • Experience in forming and maintaining strategic alliances.

  • Experience in cross-functional commodity teams.

  • Supplier Assessment, Audit & Qualification Experience

  • Master's Degree and/or Engineering Degree

  • PMP Certification

  • Knowledge of e-commerce initiatives

  • Knowledge of FDA regulated industries

  • Product development processes

  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Previous experience in a medical device industry

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the creation, development, and effective execution of internal and external communications strategies in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Integrated Operating Unit (CRM), one of the largest Operating Units at Medtronic. In this dynamic and varied role, your work will include communications strategy development, organizational change management communications, creating and implementing product launch communications, and issues management. Your work will focus primarily on supporting one or two CRM businesses, and will flex across CRM based on business need. This role can be based Minneapolis or remotely.
